Installed a Crimestopper 1804fmdp remote start with a idatalink ads-tb bypass. The system works great until I let it sit for a long period of time. After a certian period of time (not determind how long yet, at least 30 minutes) the security light flashes on remote start as if the module isn't working to bypass the system.

I've also ran into something weird when programming the module. First key in the light on the module flashes red then green as it should. Second key in the light on the module does nothing. Push the start button and the vehicle starts also with no flash from the module led.       Is the module bad or do I have a clone set key of keys that could be my problem?

Never had a problem let this, please give me your ideas to solve this.

Update: Flashed the module with the suggested firmware (2.2) on the idatalink website and now it don't program at all. It programs up to the point where I have to press the programming button and then remote start. The led just stays red like its not sending the signal up the Tx wire. Could this be my problem?  I haven't changed anything since the firmware update?

Ready to just pull the system and give up.. or maybe just put in a keybox type.

Well, I pulled the module and just left a key in the ignition and it starts fine everytime. Guess its the module after all, wish I would have tried this right away or one of you seasoned installers would have suggested that or anything!

woah, give us time, especially when we have our own jobs/families to take care of. You should have verified your wiring with a DMM on the harness to the bypass to make sure it is getting all the signals it is supposed to.
