I have searched online and with the local installation shops on information on how to install a Viper 211HV to my 1998 Chevy Lumina LS (3.1L) Could anyone help tell me what wires connect to what? I would like it to unlock and lock the doors, and hopefully honk the horn. I dont care about headlight or interior lights.
Here is what their install guide tells me:

(Blue/Black) - Unlock #30 Common Open
(BROWN / Black) - Unlock #87A Normally Closed
(Violet/Black) - Lock #87 Normally open (Input)
(Orange) - (-)500 mA Ground-when-armed Output
(WHITE/ Black) - Lock #87 Normally Closed
(Yellow) - (+) Switched Ignition Input (Accessory)
(GREEN/ Black) - Lock #30 Common Output
(WHITE/ Blue) - (-)200 mA Channel 3 Validity Output
(BLACK/ White) - Output of Dome Light Supervision Relay #87
(lt.GREEN/ Black) - Factory Alarm Disarm
(BLACK/ White-1) - Input of Dome Light Supervision Relay #87
(Brown) - (-)Horn honk Output
(Blue) - (-)200 mA 2nd Unlock Output

ok lets eliminate or cut short( no less than 6 inches) the wires from the keyless that you dont need

cut short these wires  BROWN / Black, Orange, WHITE/ Black, WHITE/ Blue, both BLACK/ White, lt.GREEN/ Black and Blue wires

OK now ground these wires to chassis look for a factory ground -- Black, Violet/Black & Violet

now match up the wires for your keyless to the wires on the diagram. Be sure to test your wires for proper function before attaching any wires with a DVM or computer safe test light. If you do not and you just try to guess at it then you will screw up you car. if you do not know how to use a DVM or tester then you should definately NOT install this yourself. Make sure you make a solid connection and that all connections are properly insulated.

All other wires will match up directly except if you want trunk pop.The RED / White wire would have to go thru a relay then to your (+) trunk release wire. look at this site for wiring relays if you want to do that.

Actually, PURPLE / black and purple should go to a constant 12v+ source not ground, topinstaller, you've posted them as a pos trigger pulse.
By the way, I wish New York WAS in the UK,, I love the place!
