Fantastic site. Was able to install a remote starter in my 98 jetta manual shift from information I found on this site (The remote starter installation manual gave me almost no info to go by and the manufacturer's website had very little available to the public).

An error I found on the wiring diagram:

Brake switch should be RED / black (+) Link

Hand brake missing: Hand brake at hand break switch BROWN / yellow (-)

Clutch bypass missing (with relay at clutch switch)

Corrections are so important.

And easier than opinions LOL!

I am assuming your correction is correct. If not, why not - is there ambiguity, different versions etc?

(But if so, I'd rather your "extra" info so I don't get caught out...)

Thanks for the post but I've already mentioned recently in a post that the brake light output is RED / black, never actually remembered the parking brake colour, always picked it up at the instrument panel!

Are you saying that there is a failure in our Quality system?

Or that this is not a quality site?

The link above is incorrect. I was trying to link to recent post in which I mentioned discovering the error, which Howie verified. Corrent Link
