hello everyone. i would like to see the wiring diagram for a 2001 mr2 spyder. for remote start and how to install a 530t. i already have a viper 5901 installed but it would be nice to see a wiring diagram for that too as im trying to learn how to install modules. i just would like to save a hundred dollars and stay away from shops for labor.

It's about 8 years since I worked on one and I can't find any references here.
Having said that you could look up Bulldog or Audiovox tech.
There's a white plug for the factory alarm adjacent to the instrument panel, has all the alarm leads you will need, go to the back of the instrument panel for tach.
One of the easiest cars to do apart from having to remove the seats to remove the centre console if you intend to install a field disturbance (proximity) sensor.

thanks for the info. i noticed the shop that installed this alarm for me plugged in the harness that was suppose to be for remote start even though they weren't going to install it for me. was it necessary to have it wired in order for the alarm and keyless entry to work? if so, is it all i need now to have it remote start ready is to install a transponder bypass and the neutral safety switch? how bout bypassing the clutch (manual transmission)?

Orange (GWA =ground whilst armed) is your trigger wire for the 530t.
On a 2001 there should be a processor above where driver or passenger feet go (I can't be more precise I deal with right hand drive cars). The motor wires for both windows are outputted from there.
You might need the R/S heavy duty output wires as green and violet might be used as a starter cut/immobiliser and the pink MUST be used as an ignition sense.
