Just bought an 02 grand am with monsoon system in it. The rear speakers are blown and i want to replace them along with the head unit. Been reading and realize theres an adapter to keep the door chimes which i would like to keep, but can i put new rear speakers in and keep the factory system. Thanks in advance for the help.

New speakers are relativly cheap from the gm dealer my girls 04 grand am gt needed them when we got it also
