You will need a bypass for the immobilizer/antitheft system.
You can get use an iDatalink ADS-DL or ADS-ALCA.
Also Fortin EVO-CAN or EVO-ALL.
Make sure wherever you buy them from can program them for your vehicle.
Both are rock solid modules and control the locks as well.

If I'm not mistaken, the Factory FOB's no longer work while the engine is running.   2008 acura rdx wiring guide -- posted image.

Most Honda's and Acura's are like that.  Start it with one key and use the other FOB to try to lock or unlock the doors while it's running.

Some of the one button remote starter units have the ability to also send an unlock after the vehicle is started.  Which make and model were you planning on installing?

Don't use too much Viper but you are in luck.  That model is listed as having the "Unlock While Running" feature.    2008 acura rdx wiring guide -- posted image.   Won't be able to lock or pop the trunk but...

Awesome! I don't mind not popping the trunk lol
Thanks for the help
By the way I'm planning on using the XK05 bypass... Is that a good one to use or should I get something different?

The XK05 w/PKH4 firmware should work fine.  Just make sure you get it flashed by the seller or get one with the sticker that indicates it has that firmware loaded on it from the factory  (if you don't have the XKLoader cable ).

I have also used the PKH34 bypass module.  It comes pre-loaded with firmware and is usually less expensive.

My favorite is the ADS TB w/HA firmware or ADS TB KO modules.  All work well, very easy transponder to bypass.

Be careful with the Light Green Transponder Data wire.  It is very thin and somewhat delicate.  Definitely want to solder this connection.

Soldering is fun!
