You only need one module to bypass the Passlock2.
According to the note at the bottom, either will handle the Passlock2 but neither will handle the door locks. There are other
bypass modules available for that car besides the 555L ( 555LW / 556LW ). A good Data style bypass module is the ADS TBSL PL.
The door locks are Type B (+). You can handle them directly with a 451M door lock module ( $10 ) or via data with a SATDL
module ( $7 ).
A lot of techs feel that the Saturn's Passlock2 is best bypassed with the old relays and resistor method outlined below :
http://techservices.audiovox.com/TechnicalIndex.aspx
One addition note on that car from Bulldog Security below :
NOTE *1 THE LIGHT GREEN(-) KEY SENSE WIRE AT THE STEERING COLUMN MUST SEE A (-) NEGATIVE DURING REMOTE
START TO KEEP THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT FROM COMING ON. SPLICE THE BANDED END OF A 1 AMP RECTIFIER
DIODE(1N4004, FROM RADIO SHACK) TO THE NEGATIVE STATUS OUTPUT WIRE(SAME WIRE THAT RUNS TO YOUR BYPASS
MODULE) FROM REMOTE STARTER, TAP UNBANDED END OF DIODE INTO THE KEYSENSE WIRE.
Soldering is fun!
