On the 2.0L with AT, there are 2 wires coming out of the wire harness at the fuel injectors. They need to connect to the wires from my camshaft position sensor. The problem is that there are 3 wires coming from the sensor. I need to know which wires I should connect.
Thanks
James

The wires from injectors don't connect to the CPS.
The injectors each have 2, 12V+ ignition and open/close.
The first will be common colour to the injectors, the second different.
On the CPS you have 3, 12v+ ignition, ground and pulsed output.
Whilst they feed back to your management ECU the only common factor is the 12V+ ignition.
What are you trying to achieve?
Test before boxing up.

Thanks for the response.
The wires and connectors for the cps melted during an overheating event. I replaced the cps, which has it's connector built-in. I bought a pig-tail/connector that runs from the cps connector to the wiring in that harness. The injectors all have their own wires. The 2 wires (RED / w and blue) I am referring to come out of that harness well before the injectors, inside a gray covering with a mesh metal shield wrapped around. (Since only a little bit of wire survived, I cut open the plastic heat shield on the harness as to get more wire to work with). The pig-tail has 3 wires (red, blue, yellow w/blue). If I connect red to red, blue to blue, what do I do with the remaining wire?
I can find diagrams for every wire harness with wire colors, but not this section of the car.
Thanks :)
James
