I'm installing an aftermarket nav unit (Pioneer 8000NEX) in a 2014 Toyota Tacoma and it is requiring an input from the speed sensor. I have searched for days but, I can't find the info for 2014 Tacomas. I have even used an O'scope to check the remaining wires on the vehicles factory radio harness but, didn't find the signal. I assumed that it would be around 7volt square waves or similar but, no luck.
The closest info to my model year is PURPLE / white wire but, there's two identical PURPLE / white wires that were going into the factory radio.
Please help!

Test using a DMM, similar to finding tach, set to 20 VAC, black to ground and red for suspect wire which IMO SHOULD be PURPLE / white, Toyota never change colours just for the sake of it, are you listening Ford, BMW?
You should get a reading of 1 to 5-VAC as you go past 3 mph.
Or use an LED, again it should start flashing past 3 mph.
