After striking a low steel pipe filled with concrete, which couldn't be seen with the mirrors, I decided to install an after market back up camera. The camera installation was a breeze. It bolted to the license plate and the power was obtained by tying into the back up lights. The link to the monitor in the cab is an RF link.
The instructions say to tie the power for the cab monitor unit into the wire for the back up lights at the reverse switch on the column. I don't have a clue on how to find which wire or bundle to look at to find the correct wire. Can anyone point me to where I can find a wiring diagram? Maybe someone has done this already and can give me pointers on how to do it.
The recommended fall back it to plug the monitor into the cigarette light but then there will be a constant drain on the battery even if the car is off!
Appreciate any help. Thanks.

In the passengers kick panel junction box are 6 wire connectors. I can only undo two of them and don't have a clue how to uncouple the other four. The four which need to unconnected have about 20-30 wires each and I can not see the wires on the back side of the coupled connector. Does Ford have some special tool to "undo" connectors?

Is there a bundle of wires under the door sill on the passenger side of the vehicle? Should be in there as it comes from the back of the truck to get to the junction box.
If you found the wire in the back, you could have run it to the front 10 times by now.
