When I plug my deck in it doesn't work. Trying to find out which wires are for the power and ground, etc.

Directechs has no info on this vehicle. They do have the following for the CL
Radio 12V      white/yellow      +      radio
Radio Ground      black      -      radio
Radio Ignition      white/red      +      radio
Radio Illumination      red/black      +      radio

It doesn't have a white/yellow wire, white/red or a red/black.

teagan2018, please re-read his post. That wiring is for a CL, not an EL, but it may have been the same, hence him giving it to you.
Are you plugging in the factory radio or an aftermarket radio with an adapter harness? Also, have you checked all the fuses inside the vehicle and under the hood?

Yes I read his post and I don't think they are similar because those wires I do not have in my car. I am trying to get my factory stereo to work but when I plug it in it doesn't turn on. I am about to go to the local audio shop and buy a adapter harness for a aftermarket stereo I have around.
I had cut some wires to try and do it without a wire harness but I had no idea what I was doing and couldn't find a diagram that tells me which wire is for which so I crimped the cut ones back together.
I checked the fuse inside the car. Didn't know there was any under the hood so I'll check right now.

The EL is on the same platform as the Honda Civic. The CL is built on the Honda Accord platform.
