I am currently installing an aftermarket head unit into my benz and since the new stereo is fairly new by design (also not benz specific) it has additional wires that I am not familiar with the color designation to. Assuming they are for the steering wheel controls etc which are on a separate wire grouping in the vehicle which I have not been able to locate an adapter for to utilize. I know the basic wiring to power the unit etc but want to get a full layout of the coding to perhaps hardwire the functions for the steering wheel to work as well. Brown is ground standard in all mercedes but there is also two wires yellow with a blue stripe and yellow with a black stripe twisted together with nothing attached on the end which I just capped off because I have no idea what they go to? Bit perplexing to me but any information in regards to the color coding that I don't already know would be appreciated. Bear in mind I do know how to power the unit ground it hook up the remote wire and all the speakers already. Thanks!

I am aware of the basic color coding for the stereo itself however perhaps I didn't word it correctly when I initially posted about it, but what I was asking is what the wire colors for the steering wheel controls were because there is no aftermarket adapter to add these functions I want to hardwire them in from the wires off the stereos harness. Sorry about the misunderstanding but that was what I was asking
