I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus, the RT coupe.  It's actually built by Mitsubishi Motors.  I'm trying to install a navigation system, but I need to find the VSS lead.  I can't follow the Dodge diagrams, because they are all wrong, and I can't seem to find any for Mitsubishi.  I have the 3.0 liter V-6.  If anyone knows what color the wire is, or where I could find it, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks for the info!

However, I still am having no luck.  I cannot find a yellow wire with a white stripe anywhere in the car.  Furthermore, I can't find the PCM exactly either.  I was told that Mitsubishi sometimes likes to put them in the cabin rather than the engine compartment, but I can't find it either way.  When I look in front of the battery, all I see is a conduit full of wires, and inside there I cannot find the correct one.

Lastly, I had read that the VSS wire entered the PCM after it came off the transmission control module (or maybe I have it backwards, i don't remember).  The problem is, I've got a manual transmission, so no TCM!  That makes me wonder if the VSS wire is different or something.  I'm just quite confused!
