Hi everyone im new here and wanted to know if anyone could clear something up for me...

im installing an aftermarket tachometer to my car (it has the regular 4 wires red, green, black and white) but im having trouble finding where to conect the green one(the most important wire)...and wanted to know if also anyone could tell me where i could find the wiring diagrams for the two models...(the one with the integrated tach and the one that doesent have it)

hi, your looking for the tach wire.

it's BROWN / red or blue / YELLOW at the ignition coil.

hi defective...

thanks for ur advice

anyhow my car has 2 coils (since its DIS....) each having 2 wires

one of them is orange and blue and the other one is orange and brown

and i have been told that i cannot jump them up together cuz ill get an erratic RPM reading so i need to know if NE1 knows into wich cable can i connect the signal cable coming from the tach...
