Hi all.

I've bougth a cheap complete central lock system with remote.

I want to use the receiver in my Mitsubishi Galant 2,0 i limited edition, also called model E33A.

The Galant has a power lock system but not remote controlled.

Does anyone have a schematic of the power lock wiring system for that ?

I have bought the Hayes repair manual but unfortunately the wiring diagram in there is not for my car.

TIA

Problem fixed.

I found out that a puls-to-constant interface was needed. The remote receiver has 2 wires that comes with negative pulses for lock and unlock. The powerlock system in my car has a ground output when the doors are unlocked and if no ground out the doors are locked.

Instead of using a mechanical latching relay I used a single 4011 cmos, 3 resistors and a NPN transistor. The 4011 nandgate cmos is coupled like at latch and "remembers" the signals from the remote receiver. If I press the unlock button the transistor opens for a ground to the powerlock controller. It works fine.
