Do you know if the stereo has one, two or three plugs on the back of the unit ?

The wiring harness has only one plug. an older stereo was installed from an explorer before I bought the truck . I'm installing another brand but can't seem to get it to work. I tested for voltage and attempted to ohm out the speaker leads but when I connect it , it dosen't work. Maybe the radio went bad ,it did work before in another car however I didn't try it prior to removal.At any rate I will get a stereo that does work and will still need the color code of the harness. Thanks .Steve

you can just get a wire harness that converts from one to the other.
