If anyone needs info on older Alpine equipment I have a ton of installer's books. My range is mostly alarm, phone, and pager, but some other is available.

the Audio Interrupt in lead wire is used to mute the volume when you have a cell phone attached. Used mostly with the older non-portable cell phones. So if you apply ground to this lead you should be muted. Could also add a hidden switch somewhere and use it to keep valets from
blowing stuff up.

So your basiclly telling me it serves no purpose? Well now I have a problem. After the deck was installed, I turned it on the radio worked good. everything was all good till i tryed playing a CD. after putting it in all the speaker's minus sub's stoped working. So now im lost, was hopping that they audio interrupt wire had somthing to do with it. Any idea's.

Din You used the blue wire for the remote turn-on for the Subs Amp.? If So, Then Use The Blue/White .
The Reason is because the blue wire is the power antenna and it "cuts" when not listening to radio
