One of the best ways through from the cabin to the engine bay is to :
1. Remove passenger kick panel strip
2. Remove passenger kick panel
3. Pull carpet back until you can see the metal wheel arch
4. Remove the front NEARSIDE wheel
5. Remove the inner arch liner from the NEARSIDE wheel
6. If you look at the metal wheel arch which is now visible, you will see a double skinned arch.
7. If you look, you will find a small 10mm round circle which is only singled skinned, if you drill through this 'hole' it will come out in the passenger footwell. Remember to use a rubber grommet to project cables, and to waterproof / rustproof after finishing.
8. This hole can be made bigger to allow large power cable access to the cabin (Such as 4 guage power cable)
