i have a valet 551r remote start/keyless entry system, i know i need to use relays when wiring power locks, and i know how to wire relays, but i'm not sure about what wires to tap into on the truck and where, any information will be appreciated

Hey Goober, The wires that you arelooking for are:

Lock ORANGE / violet

Unlock pink/violet

These wires will be found at the drivers kick panel above the parking brake. The door lock system is a reversal rest at ground system. You will need two relays to cofigure the door locks. You can find the relay info on this page in the door lock section. Brian
