Im trying to install an amp in my 2002 Dodge Durango and I want to keep my stock cd player, the last thing I need to do is install the remote wire.  I'm not sure which wire to connect it to(i tried a couple but blew a couple fuses).

This is the guide I used(found here) but there were some discrepancies...the pink wire is orange, and there are 4 wires unaccounted for(2 black, 2 pink/black).

|RADIO 12V                   |pink                          |+ |radio                     |

|RADIO GROUND        |black                        |- |radio                      |
|RADIO SWITCH          |RED / white                 |+ |radio                      |
|RADIO ILLUMINATE   |white                        |+ |radio                      |
|LF SPEAKER               |lt grn/pu-lt grn/grn  |   |radio                      |
|RF SPEAKER              |lt blu/pu-lt blu/blk    |   |radio                      |
|LR SPEAKER              |wht/red - wht/blk     |   |radio                      |
|RR SPEAKER             |tan/pur - tan/blk       |   |radio                      |

So, any info on which wire to connect it to would be great.  Hopefully I won't need a new harness or anything...

the orange is probably ur remote, if not u can test them u have left but those 2 pair black and pink black probably aren't ur remote.  If still no success i have been using my own methond and spreading it around.  u can hook ur remote wire to a acc switch and turn the amp on when ever and turn it off when ever.  U may be riding and don't want to hear the noise and u can just hit the switch.  Down side though forget to turn it off and ur battery may die.  but i left mine on all night one night and my truck cranked right up

The more you think the less you'll know. you betta ask somebody

would hooking the amp remote wire to the 12v ignition switch in the back of the stereo perform the same function as the remote wire?

if i use a toggle switch, which wire would i hook it into?  just the 12v wire?
