i'm installing a bulldog securtiy remote starter and am having trouble with the VATS key.  i have measured the resistance and purchased a resistor of equal resistance.  i also have a DEI P/N 8617 relay assembly.  now what?  my question is, how do i incorporate the resistor and relay with the wires of the RS and the car to bypass the VATS?  the resistor goes where with what wire(s)?  any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks for the suggestion but the web page that the link belongs to does not work.  i've tried to access it for three days and it still does not work.  is there any other suggestions that could help with the bypass of the VATS.

i get the:

GM VATS bypass Part 1

GM VATS bypass Part 2

up on the screen but then it's a dead end for me.  i've tried on two different computers and the same result.  it says the page cannot be displayed.  i've tried going to the velocity motorsports web site and accessing the link the long way but the whole website is messed up.  it says they're currently under construction.  i'll wait another day or two and try again.
