Could anyone tell me how to get through the firewall for the amp installation?

I found one.  If you look behind the alternator there is a rubber gromit that is right there.  You will need something to push in the foam.  Everything from there is alright.  Took me a few minutes and a helping hand, but I got it.  If needed I can send a diagram from Cruthcfied about the installation.  Just let me know.

I've got the same question, but the model year is a 2006 impala. Need to get through the firewall to pull some wires.. Found the rubber gasket that the bundle of wires from the engine compartment to the passanger compartment passes through. Is there enough room in there to pull a couple of 14gauge wires and 2 strobe cables through?
