printed the wire codes from download search section of 12volt. com. two of us trying to install radio into Escort. Wires coming out of dash are not same color codes as in list printed. Wires out of dash appear to be factory, no splicing etc. Any suggestions. (first time, low on funds, need to get this girl some tunes).

a wireing harness is only like $10 but if you must make it hard and have no cash

Radio 12v	dk. blue/red	+	radio harness
Radio Ground	black	-	radio harness
Radio Ignition	dk. blue/black	+	radio harness
Radio Illumination	dk. green (dimmer)	+	radio harness
Factory Amp Turn-on	RED / black	+	radio harness
Power Antenna	N/A
LF Speaker +/-	purple - dk. blue/orange	+,-	radio harness or amp near radio
RF Speaker +/-	dk. blue/white - white	+,-	radio harness or amp near radio
LR Speaker +/-	WHITE/ dk. blue - RED / dk. blue	+,-	radio harness or amp near radio
RR Speaker +/-	WHITE/ dk. green - dk. blue	+,-	radio harness or amp near radio
