My stereo wiring for my thunderbird is different from what it says in vehicle wiring for stereos. The speaker wires are correct but power wires, the constant, switched and ground are incorrect please help, I haven't cut the harness yet though so I'm all good.

Well what colors do you have as of right now? Do you have access to a multimeter so you can test the wires? A cheap one will run probably no more than 10 bucks.

ehh i agree but i'd spend the money for one from best buy for 20 or so. Whenever people bring us the harness's from walmart at best buy to install we always offer no warranty on those. The reason being is that in a few of our experiences the colors are completely different wires than what they say. I remember one in particular that when i tested it the one that was supposed to be the ground was actually the 12 volt constant and the one that was supposed to be the 12 volt constant was the ground. I'm glad i don't trust those, and tested otherwise some damage would have happened to that poor guys deck. Has anyone else ever had weird experiences with those or is it just the one i work at?
