06 Dodge 2500 Diesel wiring for strob/sir

I am trying to install Whelen 90 watt strobe pack and Galls siren on an 06 Dodge diesel quad 4x4 and the dealer won't tell me what ignition switched accessory wire to tee tap off of under the dash to power the switches

Pink With White tracer should be your Ignition 1 wire but your accessory Wire is Purple with brown tracer but is controlled by a Resistor on the 06 model i would conect your power off the Ignition wire.

Personally i install emergency lighting on vehicles my self and i tap off the ignition wire but i run another power line off the battery for a relay to power my accessories.  another words use the ignition wire to trigger the relay for your emergency accessories!.

Yes, do not use the constant 12v @ the ign. harness, it's only protected by a 20 amp fuse. Get it at the battery OR, at the electric brake connecter above the fuse box. (big blue plug)
