Does anyone have the pin outs for the stereo in a 2006 silverado? Not the wiring diagram, but the pin outs from the back of the stereo. As in Pin 1 = 12v, etc.
I don't own a 2006 silverado, but I have the OEM stereo that came out of one. It is a Delphi Delco Electronics GM Part No 15131157.
I removed my aftermarket stereo out of my 98 Gm Safari and no longer have the OEM stereo. I am trying to give the van the factory look before selling it. So since I was able to get this OEM one out of a 2006 silverado for $1 rhen I was going to try and wire it in.
So if I can get the pin outs for the stereo I can make a connector.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't believe you can use that 06 radio in your 98 rig....

If I am not mistaken the 06 is a data bus setup....the 98 is not.. BUT...I am not sure.

I figured with it being a basic AM/FM only radio that it would be backward compatible. That all I would basically need to do is run power to the correct pin, and speakers to the correct ones and it should work. I know it has some features like the door chime plays through the speakers but I was assuming that was a wire I didn't need to hook up.
