Hi, just wanted to know if there was anyway of having the hatch release on a golf without unlocking the car. I already have trunk unlock, but i want it to release just like if i was to use the oem remote and i don't want to use a canbus module!

Any aftermarket alarm/starter will have a trunk button that will provide a negative pulse to connect to you're trunk release, although on some vehicle's they will be a positive trigger or a reverse polarity, it's up to the installer to make the right connections, in my case i thought i read in a wiring schematic that the trunk latch wires connect to the comfort module on the golf's, but i can't seem to find that info anymore!

The comfort module is the main control module located under the drivers side of the dash.
