Tried connecting Pioneer CD player in a Nissan 93 Altima. Now when the radio only switches on with the headlights and interior lights don't work when the headlights are on.Dimmer or illumination wiring wrong?

Does this match what and how you wired your radio?

Yes it does, although some of the wires in my car were a little different in color. I am sure I got the speakers right, my issue is sorting out the connection of the illumination. Where do I connect the illumination and dimmer,to the memory or the constant supply?

you don't connect those together. You keep the 12v+ constant and ignition separate. ground to a solid ground and make sure speakers are correct polarity. The illumination and dimmer wires trigger the radios lights on display to "dim" for night use. Some after market radios don't have that and some do. If you want to have it operational then you would have to tap into parking light 12v+ wire and hook that to illumination. The dimmer goes to the dimmer control on dash. I usually ignore the hassle of that one. It is up to you if you need it hooked up, or just want it hooked up.
