I am struggling to find any good info on the 2011 gmc denali navi/dvd player headunit (potentially G-DEN1013). I am considering bypassing the parking brake feature on the headunit for the simple fact that my son watches movies in the backseat. When a movie finishes or needs to be restarted/fast forwarded etc.., my wife has to kick her seat back to see what the movie is doing on the screen in the back while I manipulate the controls on the radio blindly (which I think is even more dangerous technically). I am aware of the dangers of playing video while the truck is in motion, but this would not be a fix for me as I described above. That said, I once owned a pioneer avic D3 and it was as simple as pulling the power antenna out of the pin harness and putting it in an opposing slot location and then grounding that wire. Can anyone help me with this issue?
