Have u guys heard about the proposed bill to suspend assembly on LCD, HDTV, and plasma tv's. These politicians are ridiculous.

16. S.2078 : A bill to suspend temporarily the duty on Liquid Crystal Device panel assemblies for use in Liquid Crystal Device projection type televisions.

That's what I thought it was saying as well. The duty on the assembly of the screens. That would mean cheaper LCD and Plasma TV's !!

They are getting cheaper anyway as more and more manufacturers come in the business. Of course there are also those whose motto is "make it a little worse and sell it cheaper". They do get a lot of business though!
