I have a 1997 camaro Z28 that I'm installing a Pioneer AVIC - N2 system in and I'm trying to locate the VSS lead that goes to the speedometer or the nearest VSS lead to tie into for that matter.  Does the dark green / white thing for the factory radio apply to this 1997 model as well?  Please help!  Shaun

Yes that is your VSS wire at the radio. It is used for the Speed Control Volume feature of your factory radio.
