Im installing a kenwood indash DVD with a KTC-V500N in a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee.  THe Tunder box has two full size antennas and Im wondering if I need to use both. Im also wondering if Tinted windows is going to change his reception. Thanks.

You should use both antennas and yes tint can affect the reception, especially metalic tints(more expensive ones).

Thanks alot, so should the antennas be in close proximity, do they have to be on the back window and the tint is factory so Im guessing its cheat stuff. I was thinking of doing one antenna on each rear side window but if thats a bad thing just say so. Thanks for the quick response

you can put one on each side that should be fine just be sure that if you can put one part the ant up then the other one can go horizontal and then do the same thing on the other side the factory tint shoudn't affect it. i've done quite a few in suburbans and expeditions.
