I've had the Avic N1 on my Toyota previa for about two years and recently, my

car battery shorted and Avic N1 started to show this message,

"Please insert the appropriate disc" I tried disconnecting everything

and connect again but still the same message. Does anyonne know how to solve

the problem?

Thanks,

Koichi

first try to put in the correct nav disc ( which ever one you use all the time) if it says eject disc and insert appropriate disc thier is one of to things wrong either you have corrosion on your hide away unit or there is a internal fuse blow inside the unit left me know what you find

Thank you for the post.

I put the disc which came with the system in and it says eject the disc and insert the appropriate disc.

I tried both disc, west and east ver.1.0 but I keep getting the same message.

I guess I will have to send it to have it fixed.

Thank you for your advise anyway.
