can anyone help me with this??? i tried any wire except black pink or red at any ignition coil.. this gave me a reading, but the avic-d2 read that i was going 20 miles an hour in park.. which messed up my navigation...  also, i only have the standard radio, no bose no midline, so theres no pink or black wire at my radio harness.. any help pleaseeee... also, i think my gps thinks im going backwards even tho my reverse wire is hooked up.. .right now i don't have the vss hooked up n e more.. and when i put in an address.. it will highlight the road behind me.. its really weird..  any input on this would be nice too.. again.. its an 06 altima, automatic, 4 cylinder, avic-d2

use the pink / YELLOW behind the instrument cluster
Speed Sense pink or black    radio harness (Midline or BOSE only)
Notes: On vehicles without the 5 speed automatic transmission, can also use blue / YELLOW behind the instrument cluster.

Blue yellow is it at the cluster on all model Altimas now. To get the cluster out, the dome shaped section above the cluster pops off(just pry it upwards). There's two screws under it and there's two screws under the cluster just above the steering shroud behind the rubber. You'll find a single plug on the cluster with the correct wire....

I do at least 10 Altima's a month for a dealer near here, never had an issue. It's actually one of the easiest Navs to install, the kit fits well. You can even get the handbrake wire at the cluster while getting the VSS. Totally not true, won't hurt a thing...
