whats wrong with my LCD???

i have my indash monitor set up....and the audio and video works...but when you press the button to flip the screen out....it comes out about an inch...then sucks itself right back in????? what is wrong with it??? somebody please respond!!!

what model deck do you have? did you buy it used? I have a alpine and it does that if it gets stuck or has a obstuction when it is flipping out.  The tracks might be stuck somewhere, or the gears can be messed up.

If you have wwarranty on this item I suggest using it because it will cost you alot to get it fixed.
