Hey fellas, I need some help. I have an 05 Durango with factory navigation and want to install an Eclipse AVN-5500. Is there any easy way to do this since I already have nav?? I mean can I use my factory GPS antenna? Is there a factory VSS wire in the harness going to my stock HU? Help me please!!

Use the new PAC chrysler adapter. It will convert data and give you everything you need, accessory, VSS. park brake, park lights. I dunno about the antenna. We install double dins in the new Durango's, look pretty good with a little mod...

So I take it that it's just like the PAC TR-7 for the alpine units, right?? Do you happen to know where the GPS/nav antenna is on my truck?

No idea where the antenna is, you might want to check the top of the dash near the windshield. The plastic pops off and it could be under there like it is on the new GM trucks, that's where i put the aftermarket ones...

Thanks Mike! You've been a big help. One last question, do you know the model number for that PAC module?

I believe it is C2RCHY. Be sure that whoever you buy it from has the latest version. Early versions had problems cutting on and off but it has been fixed on new ones....
