i have a customer with a 04 vw phaeton that wants to do new speakers,4 channel and sub and mono block. the car has the factory nav screen with the 6 disc cd changer. i found a piece so he can watch video from that screen. my question is if anyone has done one of these cars and what all is involved in it. im assuming i could use a rockford 360.2 for integration. i dont believe its has fiber optics. any help would be great thanks.

I haven't done one of these yet but I would use the REQ module and use the signal after the OEM amplifier. Run the RCA's from there to the mono block and the 4 channel and retain OEM HU and all it's functions. It won't be too hard to do as long as you can use the signal after the amplifier for the REQ.
