hey, this is a question for those professional installers. Just out of curiosity, we all have our ways of getting wiring charts. I know there are many out there such as Scytek, Audiovox, DIrectech/Directwire, Astrochart, Wiremagic, and freeware sites such as commando and bulldogsecurity (JBS Tech). I have access to audiovox and scyteks database and the Demo version of astrochart, and wow it it pretty detailed from what I see. So, Which would you have to say is best wiring chart provider and why?. If there are anymore or ones you would recomend, by all means, please mention it.

Astrochart is awesome with all the pics and stuff, but sometimes they seem to make things more difficult than needed, but its the one I use daily because it actuallys help in installing their product.
Audiovox is very straight foward in my opinion, kinda like a don't fix it if it ain't broken attitude.
DEI never used since they changed password situation, but they seemed to be ok.
Wire Magic I used a couple of years ago when I sold Crimecrapper and I found is was not very good.
The generic ones are a complet joke IMO.

You need to BE an Astro dealer to be allowed the rights to be able to pop for the $300.00 CD ROM, and the $50.00 a year updates. They are all registered and "turned on" via tech support. No way around it! -------------

I'd like to know about wire magic as well. I do a good amount of sidework and was thinking of subscribing to them. Just want another source to get info from besides the free sites. Anyone have any input on how good/bad they are?
