I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the best place would be to access the turn signal wires on my 97 Blazer? I'm installing a set of signal mirrors today and would like to be able to access the wires from inside the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.posted_image

im not sure of the colors, but you should be able to find then on the steering colunm. check the wires with a meter not a test light.

good luck,

I found the wires at the steering wheel but the only problem is that when I apply the brakes I have power to those same wires, and I don't want the signal mirrors on when the brake lights are on. I tested some of the other wires and found a couple that would work with the turn signals but when the turn signals are off I still have just a faint hint of power to them. I only have a light tester but I can get a meter real quick. Does it matter? Would it make a difference when I test wires with them? I'm pretty new to this so I hope I don't sound too stupid. Thanks for any reply.
