Does anyone know of a relay whereby I could trigger 12 volts using an audio signal?

In other words when an audio signal is present I want to turn on 12 volts to an accessory. Picking up the power wire of the audio accessory is no good because it can be turned on without generating an audio signal. Your replies are much appreciated.

OK, that works with speaker level outputs.  Got any idea for line level outputs?

Try a PAC TR-4. Senses voltages as low as 0.8 volts. https://www.go2pac.com
