trying to find horn trigger wire on 01 isuzu trooper to install second, selectable horn to supplement weak original equipment when needed

want to avoid steering wheel due to air bag

have searched endlessly for diagrams with no success - would appreciate any informatin that would allow a mere mortal (no engineering degree) to locate the xacan wire

Look for a Light Green wire in the steering column harness under the driver's side dash. No need to go into the steering wheel itself. This wire will show ground when you sound the horn. You can also tie into the positive side of the horn at the horn itself.
