Hello All,
New Guy Here!
I am building a 1934 3 window coupe. LI NY
Where can I find a plug or connector for the back of my dashboard so if I have to remove the dash I can just unplug the wires instead of cutting them?
How is secret adio any good?
Thanks
You can buy connectors at a place like Radioshack, or online at Digikey.com or Mouser.com.

Thnaks for the reply!
I'm surprised that this forum didn't produce any better information than Radio Shack which I would never shop in anyway. Matbe it's because im not into installing alarms and radios.
Radio shack is "good" because you can get everything you need there - the male side, the female side, the pins, and the crimp (or solder) tools required to put everything together.
When you start getting in to Digikey and Mouser you start getting in to expensive stuff. For the Molex .156 harnesses I use the crimp tool alone is $180. I will admit the connections are much nicer then the stuff they sell at Radioshack, but for a one off project the price at Radioshack can't be beat.
How many total wires do you need? Metra used to (and still may) sell reverse harnesses and regular harnesses for car radios (I know they had them for the 70-1858 among other popular models). So, you could buy one of each and have a flying lead connector setup fairly easily. You could also find the radio harness out of a car in a junk yard and they buy the matching aftermarket harness.
How is that for options???? :)

Thats more like it...........
I thank you
A little grumpy last night
Taking it a stage further, most of these connectors in Europe and USA are made by either Molex or Amp, you could ask them for help, alternatively RS Components in UK sell all of them, go online and check.
