Any help is appreciated.  I have a new sub that is dual 2 ohm vc and i want it to have a 2 ohm impedence.  I need it to be 2 ohm so my amp gives off the recommended wattage rms.  It gives 900 watts at 2 ohm and my sub's rms is 800. It gives 550 watts at 4 ohm. So you can see why i need it to be 2 ohm

Any help, or if it is even possible? I am a beginner so i need extra explanation thanks

You only have 2 wiring options with 1 dual 2ohm sub; 1ohm or 4ohms. Unless your amp is stable down to 1ohm, the only way you can wire it is for 4ohms.

By wiring it to 4ohms, you will not miss the extra power. Every time you double the power, you only gain 3dB's. This is hardly noticable to the ear.

Wire it to 4ohms, get another identical sub, or swap the dual 2ohm for a dual 4ohm sub.
