i installed a new alarm in a camaro. when i went to install it i found that there had already been an alrm previously installed. i just disconnected everything and rewired new alarm. the only thing i didnt do was remove the relay for the starter diasble. although the trigger to the old brain was disconnected can this still in any way cause problems with the starting of the vehicle at any time? i did not hook up the starter disable on the new alarm therefore i thought i could just leave the relay?

please help me!

For the most part that will not cause any problems in the immediate future. I would on the other hand remove it. Relays can go bad even though there is nothing activating this relay, it is still handling some power. Just cut the starter wires away from the relay and use a butt connector and join the original starter wires back together.
