i tried to remove the door panel from a 1998 ford f-150 single cab, to try to replace the stock speakers in the door.  i couldnt figure out for the world how in the heck to get that dang door panel off.  can anyone help me.  maybe step by step directions.  thanks a lot.

  • take the cover off the door handle ( phillips screw )
  • another 2 phillips screw on door frame and pull straight up to remove this cover
  • If you have manual windows, you need to pull the black portion of the arm away from the door and swivel to the side. There will be a torque screw behind this to remove
  • now, pull the door straight up and out...... your done
