Really depends on the experience level of the installer, try to be a little more specific. Some places like big box shops don't care if you can fabricate cuz they don't offer it as a service, and some don't care about mecp either. If your trying to get into a custom shop, what kind of fabrication skills do you have? basic woodworking skill, like to make boxes, or are you proficient with fiberglass and custom installs? Lastly, the wages vary for local, experience, and the way your paid, rather it be hourly, bonus,or commission. Here in VA minimum wages is like $6/hr, and if i were hire a rookie installer with a basic mecp cert. I'd offer $8-10/per with bonus, where if you were a seasoned vet, advanced cert, and have great people skills I'd pay more like $15-$20/hr with bonus.
