Hello, here is the situation: there is a light on a board that i want normally light up, that is driven by a + 12v.

i want it to turn off when i send a signal that is also a + 12volts..

what would be the best way to do it? im thinking about a relay, but figure the way to do so

thanks to all

Power the lamp through the normally closed contacts on a 12vdc relay.
