Hi,
I've got a PC type plug I'd like to connect to a battery charger although this detail isn't important. The charger has two hot leads (one for monitoring) and one ground. The plug has a white, black, and green wire. Is there a standard color code for such configurations of wiring? I'd assume green to be hot and the black and white to be neutral/ground but this doesn't seem to be correct. Thanks for any help.

Below is the wire colors for standard 110/120 volt wiring in your house.

White = Neutral

Black =  Hot

Green = Ground
