Hi Ken, are you looking for information on a particular model or just general information on how to go about installing a monitor in a headrest?

Regardless of which monitor you choose, you'll need to run at least 12V+, ground, and signal (2 conductors) to each unit. Many monitors include a shroud to mount the unit in a headrest, making the physical part of the installation fairly easy. Some include tuners which may require mounting an additional unit elsewhere in the vehicle or have added depth to the unit itself. You'll more than likely want to install some other video source(s) besides a tuner (if you get a tuner at all) such as a VCP or DVD. Connecting the audio signal from your video system to your stereo varies depending on your head unit and the video system, but many are available with an FM modulator. Installation will obviously vary in difficulty from vehicle to vehicle and system to system....

...I could ramble on and on, but iIf you're looking for some other information, let us know.

Ken, go check out this page https://members.sounddomain.com/artisticaudio

And goto page 7 when you get there. scroll down the page and you will find a picture of a Caddi STS headrest. It has a 5.6" monitor that we installed. We made a frame to fit inside the headrest. It holds the monitor & an aluminum trim ring that was also fabricated by us.

Thank you for the information, the additional point I am looking for is keeping the leather tight with the mounting kit??

Hi Ken, when cutting the opening in the headrest, first cut the leather smaller than the opening of the monitor, than cut behind the leather to make the opening just slightly larger than the monitor. You can then stretch and glue the leather inside of your opening and hide the edges with your trim ring.
