Some time ago, while looking for something else, I came across a source for oem wire and I should have bookmarked it but I didn't. You could buy any gauge wire in just about any color/stripe combination by the foot. I seem to recall they had a number of oem connectors and pins avaialable too. Does anyone know of a source such as this?

I've never found a "good" resource for striped wire - you would almost need a wire house.

Delcity.net has a good selection of automotive grade wire.

I've looked around on Astro-ind.com and they seem like they would have a great selection, but I've never contacted them regarding availability.

What about metra scosche etc? The UK equivalent carries virtually every type of connector pin used in audio work but you have to buy the cable in reels they even used to stock the old grey / YELLOW clifford colour.
